Looking for a community?

Lotsa Helping Hands is committed to protecting the privacy of all members of our communities. As stated in our privacy policy in our Terms of Use, personal information will never be sold or given to third parties.

If you have been directed to go to Lotsa Helping Hands to join a community that has already been created to help someone in need, but you have not formally received a notification email or the specific web address of the community, you will have to contact either a Coordinator of the community or some other community member to receive more detailed instructions.

There are two ways to become a member of an existing community. Either:

  1. One of the Coordinators of the community has explicitly added you as a member of the community and requested that the system send you an email notification, formally inviting you into the community. This email will have instructions for verifying your email address and signing in to the community for the first time.

    Or:

  2. A Coordinator or other member of the community has sent you an email with the specific web address of the community, where you will see the heading “interested in becoming a member of this community?”. Enter your email address and follow the instructions, explaining who you are and that you have requested to be added as a member of the community. The Coordinators will be notified of your request, and it is up to them to respond back to you directly.

We are sorry for any inconvenience you experience if you are looking for a specific community, but we thank you for understanding our commitment to privacy.
