Provost Family Helpers

Welcome to our Lotsa Helping Hands Community web site. This site is a resource for all folks who want to support the Provost Family with their time, love and energy. It is also a way for us to communicate with one another via announcements, message boards and emails.

The most powerful tool is the Calendar which lists specific ways in which you can support the Kristin and the girls. By signing up for tasks on this calendar, you're ensuring that Kristin can spend as much time as possible with her girls. Please check in regularly to see new tasks that are added.

Thank you for your love and support.

Friends of the Bugsch Family!
Davis, CA

Hello Everyone!
If you are receiving a link to this address it is because you are considered a friend of the Bugsch family. As you may already know, Gigi is currently at the ICU in San Diego in an induced coma to treat her for a severe case of pneumonia. If you know Gigi well, you know that she is a very busy mother and this will be a huge hardship on their family while she is hospitalized. I am setting up this account so that people can coordinate meals and help out with the family.
Some helpful dietary information: Sidra is allergic to pineapple and wheat. Other than that, the family eats a lot of meat, veggies and rice.

Also, if you cannot commit to a meal, they will need help in many other ways too! If you would like to help transport the girls, help with the pets, run errands, etc... let me know and I will see what Brian needs.
Brian will need help transporting the kids from school to practices and help with some daily chores. I will post more information about that when he sends me that information.

Here is Brian's update for  January 8th
From Brian Tuesday 9am:

Wow.  Where do I start.  It has been a long day.  This morning was hopefully as rough and as dark as it gets.  Gigi had a bad day yesterday and it was getting worse.  The doctor tried some things to get her oxygen saturations up.  They also put her back on the paralytic.  Without going into too much detail, her blood got acidic, but then things turned around and at 1pm her blood gases were improving and by 5pm she had made a miraculous turnaround.  She  has been stable with good oxygen levels for the past 10 hours.  Bad news is we are back at the starting line of the marathon.  Good news is she's stable and her vital organs are in good shape.  Hopefully we can begin moving back toward working her away from getting off the ventilator.  Hopefully her nie support.  We can never repay all the love and support, but we appreciate it all.

Hayli's Helping Hands Care Package Schedule for Hayli Dixon, CA
community photo

Hayli's Helping Hands
Dixon, CA

Welcome to Hayli's Helping Hands.

This site provides a place for friends and family of Hayli Thomas to take part in providing Hayli with regular, ongoing care packages. The purpose of Hayli's Helping Hands is to offer a community calendar which will organize the delivery and scheduling of Hayli's care packages.

Hayli Thomas was diagnosed with Medulloblastoma, the most common form of brain cancer in children under age 10. For 55 weeks, Hayli will receive 5 days of radiation and 1 day of chemo. This treatment takes place 1 hour from the Thomas home (the Thomas home is in Dixon, Ca and the treatment will take place in Roseville, Ca). Parents Kerri and Mike also have 2 young boys, ages 3 and 8 months. Kerri has taken a leave from work.

Please consider sending our sweet Hayli a care package. She is a fun-loving 8 year old girl who loves animals, dance and games. Our intention is to provide Hayli with activities, books, treats and goodies to lighten her life of driving and medical treatments. Our hope is to provide her with a weekly care package.

Hayli is a fighter. But no child should ever have to fight this battle. Please say a prayer for Hayli and consider signing up for Helping Hands. We want Hayli to know just how much we support and love her. The smallest gift or gesture can make the biggest bit of a difference in the world of a fighting 8 year old girl. Thank you and God Bless.

Cheryl was in a Motor cycle accident May 9th. She sustained multiple fractures in her back, ribs, and sternum.
She is now home from the hospital and will have a long recovery. She is in a back brace for at least three months. The family is so very grateful for all the love and support you have given them.
We have set up a calendar with task that would assist them tremendously.

Peace and Love from

Hope for Dominic Klapperich
Martinez, CA

Welcome to our Lotsa Helping Hands Community web site.

This site has been set up in honor of Dominic Klapperich.

On February 22, Dominic was diagnosed with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG). This is a malignant brain tumor that is inoperable.

As you all know Dominic has always been a sweet, loving, quiet, content, special Little boy. Fun loving, just happy to take part in whatever is going on, not needing to be the center of attention but rather to just be there as a part of it all. He is a wonderful big brother, a great helper for his mama and daddy, a fun friend, a great little brother, a sweet and fun nephew, an awesome cousin and an incredibly special grandson.

At this time the family is still processing what this all means.
What we do know is that they will be in great need of financial assistance to help with expenses.
Any amount you can give will help. No gift is too small.

We are so blessed to have this website as a place for us to communicate updates on Dominic and our family. We are also especially thankful for this platform as a place for us to express any help we may need and as a place for volunteers to offer help and lend a hand.

We thank God for you and your prayers to help Dominic and our Family during this time of uncertainty. We thank you so much for all your generosity, love, support and prayers.

Love,
The Klapperich and Ruport families.

The information below is out of date. We are keeping it for posterity:

Visitors are welcome. Dave is now at a Rehab Center not far from his home in San Leandro. We're using the Calendar and messages on this site to help coordinate the visitor flow. The room is small so it cannot accommodate more than two people at a time. For more visitors Dave will need to get up and come to the dayroom for visiting.
