About Cooney's Food Court

Welcome to our Lotsa Helping Hands Community web site. This site provides a place for people in our area to go to request help as well as for volunteers to offer help and lend a hand. Patrick was diagnosed with T-cell Leukemia. He is in Dana Farber Hospital and will be there for over a month. When he is released he will be confined to his home for 7 or 8 months. The Cooney Family has another younger child. There main concerns right now are: 1) Preparing a safe, sterile environment for Patrick when he returns home. They were told they needed to remove most of their pets, including Patrick's beloved bird. They are hoping to find someone to home him temporarily so he can return to Patrick when he is better. 2) Meals for the family. Laura and Greg will be spending much of their time in Boston. When they have free time they would like to devote as much as they can to their daughter and other son. If we can help them not have to worry about a meal or picking up bread and milk - we can relieve some of their stress and burden.
