About Dana Lookadoo - Spinal Cord Injury

Dana Lookadoo broke her neck and back in a bicycling accident on 11/14/13 - 14 broken bones (6 vertebrae). She was making miraculous progress until she received some treatments that caused additional damage to her spinal cord. She also fell on her back and sprained her right ankle on 6/19/14, which activated a dormant condition in her right foot, reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD). Since then, intense burning from neuropathy and muscle spacicity has been spreading. Additional setbacks occurred in late 2014 and early 2015. Burning and spasms cover approx. 75% of her body. Her mobility and function is greatly limited. She suffers a lot of pain each day but remains hopeful.

Your help is appreciated, especially for meals and occasional help around the yard.

You can also help with ongoing medical expenses and caregiver costs. Even $5 or $10 per month can make a difference. Learn how to give.
