About Brandon Sprute Recovery fund

Welcome to Brandon Sprute's helping hand page.

On Sunday February 3, Brandon Sprute was severely burnt in an explosion at his house. While cutting a 55 gallon drum with a torch, the vapors inside ignited and engulfed Brandon, and the surrounding area in fire.  Thanks to the quick response of family, neighbors, and emergency responders the burns were contained to 75% of his body. Brandon is in critical condition as the majority of the burns are 3rd degree and will require about 17 surgeries, and 7 months in the hospital. He is in an induced coma, but is starting to move his arms when his family and friends talk to him! Brandon is at the Portland Burn Center, at Emmanuel hospital. His family is asking for prayer! Brandon has a fund going at any Key bank in the U.S., if you would like to donate to him; his fund is called the “Brandon Sprute Recovery Fund”. Another thing his family is asking everyone to do is to donate blood to the American Red Cross! They really need our help and support, so let’s keep them in our prayers, and do what we can!
