Welcome to our Lotsa Helping Hands Community web site. This site provides a place for people in our area to go to request help as well as for volunteers to offer help and lend a hand. Lauren is battling ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). He's a 71 year old man who has been living alone for the past 23 years. He is a very kind appreciative person. He would rather be helping you! :) In 7 months, ALS has quickly made speech quite difficult, walking slow and unstable, and his energy level rapidly decreasing. He is now out of breath from moving across the room.This is a swift moving disease. He needs help. -He would appreciate delivered meals on weekdays. -Housecleaning & laundry help for his small mobile home. He lives in the Harbor Village mobile home park, Redwood City, Ca.
