Hospitality Homes provides free short-term housing in volunteer host homes for families and friends of patients seeking care at Boston-area medical facilities.
 
Since 1983, this unique, home-away-from-home lodging option has provided financial and emotional relief to visitors in need. Cumulatively, we have provided over 170,000 nights of lodging to 14,500 families. Hospitality Homes is the only hospital housing program in the Boston area that is open to all families regardless of nationality, income, age, illness, or treatment facility.
 
We are always looking for new volunteer hosts to join our network. As a host, you volunteer only when it is convenient for you, from the comfort of your own home. The only requirements of hosting are to provide a clean, comfortable place for guests to sleep and access to a bathroom; the rest of your hosting experience can be tailored to fit your lifestyle. Guests are responsible for their own meals and transportation.
